Objectives: Obtain piston cores and grab samples to correlate lithology with acoustic stratigraphy determined in the 1976 Lake George cruise (FA 76042 SEABISKIT); sidescan locations for orientations of gassy sediments, faults, channels, bedrock ridges, etc. seen in acoustic records; shakedown NEECHO to test, evaluate platform and equipment, and consider modifications; collect 1.5, 3.5 and 7 kHz and sidescan data in areas surveyed by FA 76042 cruise; and test OBIP in a quiet water environment.
