Objectives: Make high-resolution seismic profiles for reconnaissance use in investigation of sand resources on Puerto Rican shelf and for research into late Pleistocene and Holocene sea-level rise and coral reef history.

Summary: Radar became inoperative; repaired at St. Croix. Uniboom inoperative immediately after test at dock. Major loss of cruise time.
