Objectives: Primary purpose was to survey the buried paleoshelf edge along the south side of Georges Bank using the DFS V high-resolution multichannel seismic reflection system. The second objective was to survey the buried grabens along the north side of Georges Bank, south of Martha's Vineyard and Long Island.

Summary: The Georges Bank portion of the survey was not completed due to loss of the streamer. Magnetic and gravity anomaly data were collected to aid interpretation. Gravity: 3100 km; Magnetics: 2350 km; Bathymetry: 2350 km; 3.5 kHz seismics: 2350 km; Multichannel seismics: 2350 km.
