Scientific Purpose/Goals: To recover three surface buoys with current meters at three location in Massachusetts Bay. The instruments were deployed as part of a study of currents and sediment transport in western Massachusetts Bay, and were deployed in February on the R/V OCEANUS.

Vehicle(s):

Start Port/Location: Boston, MA

End Port/Location: Boston, MA

End Date: 1987-05-12

Equipment Used: Grab sampler, Loran-C, Bottom platform

Information to be Derived:

Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: The buoys and current meter moorings were recovered without incident. The instruments were unfouled.
