Objectives: Primary objective of the program was to locate and identify potential offshore sand borrow areas for beach replenishment projects. Core sites were located on the basis of previous seismic profiling data obtained from the study area. Secondary objective was the acquistion of high-resolution single-channel seismic data from shallow waters around the Chandeleur Islands.
