Objectives: Phase I: Aug. 23-27, 1993 - Sidescan-sonar survey of dredge sites and mussel bed locations from New Martinsville to Belmont and around Muskingum Island between Parkersville, WV and Marietta, OH to define river bottom habitat. Phase II: Sep. 2-7, 1993 - SCUBA videography and sampling around Muskingum Island to document freshwater mussel species, populations and bed locations.
