Objectives: 22nd cruise monitoring currents, sediment transport, and physical/chemical characteristics of sediments in western Massachusetts Bay: Recover/redeploy standard tripod, small tripod - ADCP, suspended sediment sampler, hydraulically damped corer, Van Veen, video, O2 profiler.

Type of Activity: Mooring work;

Information to be derived: Time series data; Samples and chemical analysis; Grain size analysis; Suspended sediment concentrations;

Summary: Moorings deployed: 4 (#477, 478 and 480 recovered FA 97015 WHITE HEATH Feb. 11-13, 1997; and #479 recovered FA 97029 CHRISTOPHER ANDREW May 19, 1997). Moorings recovered: 2 (#468 and 470 deployed FA 96012 WHITE HEATH Jun. 11, 1996).
