Notes: The cruise has two objectives: first, follow-up data collection for the Chesapeake Bay Ecosystem History project, involving collection of small sections of seismic reflection and sidescan sonar data in and around the mouth of the Patuxent River; secondly, as part of an outreach effort, students from the Dartmouth College Field Geology Program were instructed in marine data collection techniques.
