End Port/Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
Start Date: 2003-05-01
End Date: 2003-05-21
Equipment Used: Edgetech chirp subbottom profiler 512i, Real Time Kinematic GPS, SEA SWATHplus-M 234 kHz
Information to be Derived:
Summary of Activity and Data Gathered: High-resolution geophysical survey mapping the shoreface along the Grand Strand, South Carolina. High-resolution chirp, sidescan-sonar, and swath bathymetry systems were used to map the toe of the shoreface, surficial sediment distribution, and seabed morphology.
