Summary Information for Field Activity 2010-104-FA

Objectives: Determine the concentrations of mercury in the fish of Oyster Pond.

Type of Activity: Sampling; Sampling juvenile fish as they migrate into coastal water;Sampling juvenile fish as they migrate into coastal water.

Information to be derived: Determinations of mercury in white perch and river herring.

Summary: Cast nets were used to collect young-of-the-year speciments of white perch and river herring from the pool south of the weir at the mouth of Oyster Pond. Approximately 9 specimens of each species were collected.
