Summary Information for Field Activity 2013-006-FA

Objectives: Examine pro-glacial deposits associated with submerged parts of the Old Saybrook and Hammonasset-Ledyard moraines

Type of Activity: Seismic profiling;

Information to be derived: Sea floor map;Morphology;Quaternary geologic framework

Summary: Two days were spent running siesmic lines in Long Island Sound. Twelve Boomer lines were run on the submerged portion of the Hammonasset-Ledyard moraine; seven lines and two transects between lines were run on the submerged portion of the Old Saybrook moraine.
