Here is a sample AVS network that reads in a sample ECOM NetCDF Output file . And here is the compressed tar file of AVS modules that you need to run this network on your own machine.
This network allows the user to interatively create z level slices of temperature or salinity with superimposed velocity vectors, isosurfaces of salinity or other scalar field, change time steps or files, etc. Everything that is displayed may be zoomed, rotated, etc. interactively with the mouse.
