At this point, the control window look like

Click with mouse button 1 to get a set of spline control points which determine a side of the grid. Important: Start at the point you would like to be the upper left hand corner of your computation domain! Note that this will not always be the northwest corner of your projected grid. Use mouse button 2 to designate the end of a side. If you have three mouse buttons, mouse button 2 is the middle button. If you have two-mouse buttons, mouse button 2 is probably "<shift>" + left mouse. You might have to consult your Matlab documentation to determine what you have to press to emulate mouse buttons 1, 2 and 3. For this tutorial, make your side look like the following...

Continue in counterclockwise fashion. The last control point of a side is automatically the first control point of the next side. When you want to finish the fourth side, use mouse button 2 to designate the next to last control point. Make your figure look like the following...

As soon as you designate the last control point, the control window updates itself to let you know that you have finished the initial boundary construction and are now ready for the next phase.
