Photos & Activities

In 2002, Dr. Rashid Sumaila visited with us from the Fisheries Centre at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver and gave a talk entitled "Impact of Marine Protected Areas on the Economic Payoffs to Different Fishing Sectors." On February 21st, Dr. Alan Comedy came from Bridgewater State College and gave a talk entitled "The Influence of Race and Racism on Image." We ended our celebration with the annual Harambee, which not only included great food, but also a quilt display, book exhibit, afrocentric creations and story-telling. We learned a lot and had a great time! Here are some pictures in case you missed any of the fun!
