USGS Sediment Studies in Lake Mead

Much of the information about USGS studies in Lake Mead have been documented in two open-file reports: open-file report 99-581 and open-file report 01-070. The digital data for these studies will be released on a CD-ROM in late 2002.

The digital data will include: sidescan-sonar mosaics (1999-2001), seismic-reflection profiles (both interpreted and uninterpreted from 1999-2001), sediment isopach maps, and an ArcView GIS including all of this information plus navigation tracklines for all three survey years.
