The next Intermediate Matlab Course, lasting six meetings, will commence at 0915 hrs, Friday, January 07, 2000 in the computer classroom, Clark Laboratory, Room 141, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, MA 02543.

A second session will commence Wednesday, February 2, 2000, same place and time.

Owing to the January "IAP", WHOI/MIT Joint Program students will be given priority in the January session.

Although the classroom has enough Matlab machines for the course, participants having laptop computers with Matlab-5 installed (preferably version 5.2 or 5.3) are encouraged to bring them as well.

We will meet for lectures and practical experience six times at 0915-1115 hrs. The schedule of the main topics is given below.

Participants are expected to have comfortable familiarity and some work experience with Matlab.
