The distribution of surficial sediment was interpreted based on tonal changes in the sidescan sonar imagey, the bathymetry and textural analyses. The interpreted sediment distribution was outlined using the available graphic tools then converted to an ArcView shapefile for each environment. These shapefiles were merged into one file with the Geoprocessing Wizard extension.
